The newly-engineered pH-neutral derouging agent DIRUNEUTRA – for which a patent application has been filed – is the ideal alternative to the aggressive acid solutions which have been used in derouging operations up to this point. Its use is safer and more affordable overall – what's more, its disposal is easier and it fulfils the recently tightened requirements for installation (and environment) protection.

After the derouging process, the passivation takes place with Dirupass AP. The product was specifically engineered for validated cleaning/passivation.

The combination of Diruneutra and Dirupass AP enables an individualised process which is best adapted to each user – and effective.

The alkaline, acidic or neutral cleaners from STERIS are specially formulated to meet the unique cleaning demands found in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cosmetic and nutraceutical industry, all over an effective validatable cleaner is required.

An extensive validation support package is available to meet the analytical objectives.

As an additional service STERIS is offering the PACE program (Process And Cleaner Evaluation). In this program the specific process impurities which are provided by customer are tested in the STERIS laboratories for an appropriate cleaning. Afterwards the customer receive a PACE Report defining parameters based on chemical type, concentration, cleaning time, temperature and cleaning method.

CIP tank cleaning nozzles from AquaDuna:

A nozzle is a central machine part in cleaning equipment. Depending of the expected cleaning result the most economical spray geometry will be chosen: Static, rotating or 3-dimensional.

With the cleaning nozzles from AquaDuna all the aqueous cleaning requirements can be achieved safely and repeatable. By the use of a 3-dimensional (orbital) nozzle the detergent consumption is reduced because of a stronger mechanical spray effect.

The geometric shape as well as a minimum of components and the deliberate reduction of wasted space of the CIP nozzles evolved as a result of necessary adherence to hygienic guidelines.
