Anodising

Anodic oxidation protects aluminium and renders it visually appealing. The electrochemical process in baths changes aluminium into aluminium oxide by means of the liquid medium and applied direct current. Aluminium oxide is a transparent oxide coating with 5 to 30 µm of actual protective finish.

Pretreatment - anodising (colourless) – aftertreatment …

There are the following processing steps. During pretreatment, the workpiece treated - polished on request - is degreased, etched and pickled. Then it is anodised (colourless) in baths of sulphuric acid electrolyte. After the treatment in the sulphuric acid electrolyte bath, the workpiece is sealed, cleaned, controlled and packed.

Size of the bath for colourless anodisation: 7000 x 900 x 1500 mm
