Colour anodising processes

Colours extend the design options of aluminium and enrich its use with appealing effects. The colour anodising processes that we use begin with a colourless anodisation step, the process steps being the same for both colour anodising processes.

• Chemical colour anodising in black is achieved by colour anodising the previously colourlessly anodised aluminium in organic or inorganic colour solutions.
• Colinal^© 3100 colour anodising provides colour anodising of the previously colourlessly anodised aluminium in metallic salines and applying alternating current in a bath.

Pretreatment - anodising (colourless) - colour anodising - aftertreatment …

During pretreatment, the workpiece treated - polished on request - is degreased, etched and pickled. Then it is anodised (colourless) in baths of sulphuric acid electrolyte and colour anodised according to customer requirements. After treatment, the workpiece is sealed, cleaned, controlled and packed.
