Without cleaning no passivation…

A professional cleaning operation is the basic requirement for all further operations. We clean with pH-neitral chemicals that will not attack the system; they can be disposed of without harming the environment.

New doesn’t mean clean…

New systems also have to be thoroughly cleaned before passivation. Why? The pipes are contaminated by a layer of dust/graphite and oil during the installation work. This makes it impossible to passivate the steel surface effectively. What is more, the layer of dirt is a breeding-ground for bacteria which have to be removed at all costs. So when a derouging operation is planned, the system is also pre-cleaned so as to prepare it optimally for the main cleaning process that follows.

pH-neutral pre-cleaning – passivation – flushing ...

That’s how the cleaning procedure runs. Already during the process of pH-neutral pre-cleaning, the whole system is flushed through in a closed circuit. The pH-neutral passivation agent is added directly to the cleaning solution and continues to circulate. After successful passivation, the system is purged completely without residue.
