ProKlenz® ONE

The alkaline high-performance cleaner ProKlenz® ONE has been specially developed for the special cleaning requirements of the pharmaceutical, biotechnological, cosmetic, food supplement and other industries that require an effective validatable cleaner.

How ProKlenz One works
ProKlenz ONE Cleaner is a proprietary blend of sodium hydroxide, an advanced surfactant system and other performance-enhancing ingredients that provide multiple cleaning mechanisms. This low-foaming product removes a variety of process residues, from fermentation by-products to silicone-based emulsions and lubricants, and is ideal for use in clean-in-place (CIP) and clean-out-of-place (COP) cleaning.

Utilisation

ProKlenz ONE Alkaline Cleaner is effective in removing biofilms when used at a concentration of 5% of the product per litre of water on a pre-cleaned, non-porous, non-food contact surface at 60 °C for a contact time of 10 minutes.
Disinfection: ProKlenz ONE Alkaline Cleaner is effective against Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella enterica and Pseudomonas aeruginosa when used at a concentration of 1% of the product per litre of water in 5% blood serum and 250 ppm hard water at 60 °C for a contact time of 5 minutes.

Virucidal activity

ProKlenz ONE Alkaline Cleaner is effective against polioviruses (type 1) when used at a product concentration of 1% per gallon of water in 5% blood serum and 250 ppm hard water at 60 °C for a contact time of 10 minutes.
