Mobile electropolishing

The quality criteria for product-wetted pharmaceutical surfaces are becoming increasingly stringent. To meet these high requirements, it is essential to keep surfaces in perfect condition. However, damage to electropolished surfaces of pharmaceutical production systems occurs repeatedly. Such damage can be repaired using electrochemical wipe polishing technology to restore the surface to once again meet the original quality requirements.

On-site service

Our mobile electropolishing unit enables the repair of surface damage – from small areas of just a few square centimeters to large areas of damage – directly on site. For vessels that are difficult to move or permanently installed and cannot be transported, this method offers an ideal and efficient solution instead of extensive polishing in an electrolyte bath.

The process step by step

The mobile electropolishing process is a multi-stage procedure: grinding, cleaning, electropolishing, rinsing, decapping, rinsing again, passivating, a final rinse, and finally drying. Each step is designed to restore the surface to its optimum condition.
