Deblacking is a special cleaning process for removing stubborn deposits of class 3 rouging deposited on a stainless-steel surface in the form of magnetite, an extremely stable and strongly adherent form of iron oxide. These deposits often occur under high thermodynamic stress and can impair the performance of systems and harbor contamination risks. Our deblacking process ensures that even the most stubborn contaminants are removed, ensuring the highest levels of equipment cleanliness, as required for manufacturing pharmaceutical products.
We restore cleanliness
To remove this form of rouging, the surface must be prepared using an alkaline and highly oxidizing process to ensure the proper reduction of iron oxide. Afterwards, any exposed iron is removed with a final treatment with a mild acid solution.
For the actual removal of the rouging, we use our specially developed, pH-neutral cleaning products to effectively dissolve the deposits without damaging the underlying stainless-steel surface. Once the contaminants have been removed, the surface is thoroughly rinsed and dried to remove any detergent residue. Our experienced professionals carry out this process with the utmost care to maintain the integrity of your equipment while ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental and safety standards.
